Ends Cycling is inviting Cyclists & Support Staff to our 11th-annual Key West Bike Ride! Come experience sunny, South Florida with us. It's a sight to behold! God's beauty is on display as we traverse 300-miles together, across the Everglades, down Route 1 South, through the beautiful Florida Keys. The route is almost all flat, with the exception of 47 bridges, one of which is 7-miles long! Experience special treats like Key Lime Pie and fun activities like feeding the tarpon at Robbie's Marina. Optional excursions such as air boat rides are a blast for first-timers on the Key West Bike Ride! We couldn't possibly invite you on this tour without mentioning the amazing hospitality of our host-churches! On this tour, you'll have the opportunity to make new friends, cycle through God's beautiful creation,
Fort Myers to Key West, FL
and change the world for youth in Romania!
SPACE IS LIMITED - The total participants between the 3-day and 5-day KWBR rides are limited to 40 cyclists and 15 Support Staff. There is the possibility of a first-come-first-serve waiting list if the tour begins to get full. As always, your registration will not be complete until payment has been received.
Thursday morning, we'll give you a ride back to Homestead or Ft. Myers at 6am or 8am. 3-day participants have the same fundraising goal as 5-day participants. We also cannot offer any early-bird discount to cyclists on the 3-day tour.
For The Youth Of:
The Reason We Ride...
On this tour, you will be riding for the youth in Egypt. Our beneficiary ministry there is called Evangelical Youth Fellowship. Here is a word from them:
Egypt is the largest country in the Middle East with a population of 102 million. Youth (18
– 29 years old) make up 21% of the total population compared to the United States which has less than 13%. It is a country bursting with young people. The vast majority of Egyptians are Muslim (86%) and there is less than 5% of the population who is evangelical. While there is technically freedom of religion, Christians face discrimination and violence against churches is not uncommon.
Egypt is a very conservative society, which is dominated by the culture of honor and shame. In spite of that fact, pornography & sex outside marriage are wide spread among youth. Egypt was ranked on search engines as number 2 in searching on “sex & pornography sites” and addiction is problematic.
Our ministry aims at raising up a youth generation who commits their lives to the Lord and is willing to live a holy life and serve others. We do this through evangelistic campaigns, spiritual guidance and psychological support. We offer meetings, conferences and discipleship groups for youth to encourage and equip them to be future leaders. We also offer financial support for poor university students. Although studying in many universities is tuition-free, other expenses such as housing, food, and buying books are still beyond their financial capabilities. During their study, we offer ministry training that includes counseling & pastoral care to help them to overcome a lifestyle of guilt and shame, so they can live a holy victorious life, overcoming their temptations and addictions.
Our dream is to continue to train more youth workers to be equipped and qualified leaders in youth ministry, specifically in the area of helping young people to be free from the captivity of pornography. We want to raise a new, pure and holy youth generation who is willing and capable of serving the Lord and other youth
Our hope is to use the prayers and funds raised from this tour to help us to raise up youth leaders and help them live a pure purpose driven life. We feel their problems are similar worldwide, and you can empathize with them as the USA suffers from similar struggles. Will you help us do this and #PrayPedalRepeat for the youth of Egypt?

How Are Your Cycling Groups Organized?
An experienced Team Leader will lead a team of 4-10 cyclists throughout the multi-day event. Riders will be grouped depending on their strengths and preferences. You are welcome to choose which group you wish to be in ahead of time. (If you're not sure you can do it, get a cycling computer and see where you are at!) A suggested 10 week training schedule is available to you.
It’s our recommendation no one changes groups unless absolutely necessary. The reason that we ride in groups is for your safety. We would love for you to grow deep relationships with people in your group.
Break Away - 18+ mph average
Paceline - 16-17 mph average
Journey Lovers - 14-15 mph average
SEE Train - 13-14 mph average
D Group (trikes, etc) - 11mph average (will likely not finish all miles each day)
PLEASE NOTE: "Average" means over the course of a 60-80 mile day, the actual pedaling speed that your computer will read at the end of your ride. This means you will at times, be riding at 2-4 M.P.H. above your actual "average" for the day. These averages will change on international tours.
